What do I think about the upcoming election?

Hopefully, 2020 will be a year for right change. 

Though this thought might be too late as the elections are usually decided well before the election date, it would be nice to have a trustworthy reliable leader at the helm for one of the diverse and trendsetting country in the world. Based on this expectation, it makes me wonder whether any of the candidates in place from the two primary parties (both President and Vice President) fit to become the president of this country. This is not to question their ability in other areas of focus, but this particular thought pertains to identifying the right person for the top most role in the country.

Right now, with surveillance levels never seen in history, along with a convoluted and twisted connected world where those with power have joined hands to become even more powerful, a country such as the US requires a reliable and honest leader whom the majority will trust irrespective of gender, color, age, race and more. At this juncture, none of the candidates mentioned appear to fit this realm. In terms of who could be the right leader to run the country, that is where the people should decide. If this were to be happen, unlike in the past, all the major forces of defense should support this leader from every front to complete her/his term to successfully implement right changes to take the country and the world forward.
